Hemp anti-bacterium

No itchiness

Ramie fiber's ends is pointed. However, hemp fiber's ends is rounded. Therefore, hemp textile is soft to the hand, without the itchiness of ramie, while retaining the hallmark sturdiness.

Fineness means softness

Hemp may be known for its durability, but its comfort and style are second to none. Hemp fiber is much finer than Flax and ramie. Compared with flax and ramie's fineness of around Ne 650 to Ne 1900, hemp fiber's fineness can reach Ne 2800! It makes hemp textiles feel softer and much more comfortable. The higher the hemp content, the softer it gets. Hemp doesn't wear out, it wears in.

Hemp is known as the strongest fiber; over twice as strong as cotton. Hemp fiber is the most durable of all natural textile fibers. Products made from hemp will outlast their competition by many years. Not only is hemp strong, but it also holds its shape, stretching less than any other natural fiber. This prevents hemp garments from stretching out or becoming distorted with use. Apparel made from hemp will likely last longer and withstand harsh conditions.

Porous nature

Due to the porous nature of the fiber, hemp is more water absorbent, and will dye and retain its color better than any other fabric including cotton. This porous nature allows hemp to "breathe," so that it is cool in warm weather. Conversely, air which is trapped in the fibers is warmed by the body, making hemp garments naturally warm in cooler weather.

Washing means more beautiful and lustrous

Hemp fabrics soften and improve with washing, like linen. Simple washing improves the fabric, softening it, filling in gaps and adding smoothness and luster. Hemp will become more beautiful and lustrous with washing.

Hemp is the rarest of fibers: new, natural, and luxurious. Its surface reflects light with a subtle luster. Its warm tone and the pattern of its texture have the elegance of refined rusticity. It is simply beautiful. Now hemp fabric has created, for the first time, a luxurious feel and drape that's a pleasure to feel against the skin.
